For the second the JLPT exam doesn't really do anything for most people. Its main use is as a basic certification for an employer to show this person has at least a basic knowledge of Japanese and that it's worth the time to interview them. Anything below N2 is just not worth their time so it's not really recommended.
The general rule of thumb that many people will tell you for workplace preparation is that N3 is good for a part time job, and N2 is the minimum for a Japanese workplace. I would agree with this, however, taking the N4 will get you used to the testing method, and maybe give you a confidence boost too while you're at it.
It's definitely worth the small amount of extra time it takes to go through a practice test so that you'll be ready for the real thing. By the way, this particular article covers the JLPT N4, but if you are studying for the N5, I also have a JLPT N5 Practice Test available. Taking the JLPT N4 Practice Test.
Dalam JLPT terdapat 5 level yaitu N1, N2, N3, N4 dan N5. N5 adalah level terendah dan N1 adalah level tersulit. Spesifikasi JLPT Level N4 Menguasai Kanji sekitar : 300 Menguasai kosakata sekitar : 1500 Dapat mengerti percakapan sehari-hari, jika diucapkan dengan lambat, dan dapat membaca materi sederhana
This guide focuses on JLPT N4, which does not have much real-life use other than to check your personal improvement and prove your interest in the Japanese language. Still, the JLPT N4 Exam can be a fitting goal for Japanese learners wanting to test their comprehension skills and basic Japanese knowledge.
I actually love these books. I've been using Intermediate and Advanced to build up my vocabulary for the JLPT N1. Their simplicity really does work, helping you learn vocabulary quickly. They also have a lot more vocabulary than most JLPT vocabulary books. (Much better than Nihongo Soumatome and Kanzen Master vocabulary books.)
